Alayande Abiola thrilled with splitted point at JSP

Though a match they probably could have earned the maximum points, Buffels FC attacker Alayande Abiola says he was pleased with the performance of his team mates as they held Jeunesse Sportive de Pobè FC to a 1-1 draw away in the Benin Republic Premier League tie on Sunday.

Buffels FC took a deserved lead in the opening minutes of the match before the hosts drew level through a spot kick to ensure the game end in stalemate.

Abiola, who was a summer signing from MFM FC, described the game as very difficult but however, he saluted his team mates for putting a spirited performance against their hosts.

“It was not an easy game but I would give kudos to my team for earning a  point.  I am hoping to work more to help this team to win league again” he said while speaking to www.freekicknaija.com.ng.

Buffels FC are fifth in the Vetalor League 2019/2020  log after six rounds of matches.
