Football Competition is to Immortalize Late Monarch, Oba Ademola Ajakaiye, says Organizing Committe Chairman, Qozeem Oladapo

The Chairman Organizing Committee of the Oba Ademola Ajakaiye Memorial U-13 Football Competition, Qozeem Oladapo says the Competition is to immortalize the sports loving late monarch.

Oladapo said this at the public unveiling of the giant trophy which arrived Ekiti State few weeks ago from London at the Civic centre, Iyin, Ekiti State.

“It’s time for us to really immortalize the sports (football) loving late Oba Ajakaiye,” said Oladapo.

“I must commend the Ekiti State Football Association for their unflinching supports and always creating the platforms for young football players to thrive.

He added: “The FA has enabled the actualization of a viable football ecosysment in the polity without anyone running foul of stipulated guildelines.”

The Oluyin, Oba Adeola Adeniyi Ajakaiye, Oyinyosaye Uyi III harped on the benefits of curbing age cheat in Nigerian Football, while praying that future stars will be discovered from the tournament.

Registration for the competition will begin on Thursday, 25th while hostilies involving all the 16 Local Government Areas in the State will begin on March 6th.
