The Northern co-ordinator of the Heartland football club of Owerri, Comrade callistus ikeh has expressed statisfactions over the performance of the Imo state owned club that play in the Nigeria premier league.
The Kaduna based football administrator has applauded the performance of the chairman of the club Barr Charles Babatunde Ezekwem who has being putting all efforts to make sure that the club was not left behind in making the welfare of the players is well taken care of and with the full supports of the state governor, Senator Hope uzordima who is also a football lover.
However With the bringing in more quality players the club would progress in the league.
His words “The chairman has put in all efforts to make sure good things happen in the progress of the club in a way that is how a good football administrator should be not really waiting for government to release funds if you have you makeup so that things would move forward.
However the chairman is very much concern with the welfare and smooth running of the club without interference And also As a co ordinator of the club and as an indigne of imo state is call to serve my people”He stated.
It learnt that the chairman of Heartland football club has being passionate in running the club due to he gave all various departments to run it work roles freely.
