I want to play for Kano Pillars -Tope Olajide

Amateur league side FC Kabu of Kabba-Bunu midfielder, Tope Olajide says he wants to begin his professional career with the club he started supporting as a boy growing up in Kano.

The defensive midfielder made this revelation on Sunday night in Abuja.

Tope who had earlier feature for amateur league side, FMC FC of Lokoja said it will be a dream come through for him to done the colour of Kano Pillars.

“After my deal to travel to Germany fell through. I have always have this dream of playing for Pillars because it my dream club which I supported right from my boyhood in Kano.

“As a footballer, you dream big and I want to start my professional career in Nigeria with the club (Kano Pillars) dear to my heart.

“I love everything about this club. The support they always get from their fans and State as a whole is always massive. Their players dont feel the pressure of going to play in Europe because it like you playing in Europe with Pillars.

“Their style of play is unique and I have always cherished to be a part of this football club,” said Olajide.

Olajide who is currently training with an academy in Lokoja said he is in Abuja at the moment for some issues centered on his playing carrier.
