Kogi United appoint Godwin Wambebe as new Media Officer

Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Kogi, 94.1) Lokoja, Sport presenter Godwin Wambebe has been appointed as Media Officer of Kogi United Football Club of Lokoja.

Wambebe, a graduate of Public Administration from Kogi State Polytechnic has been a sport presenter with Radio Kogi since 2012 and also freelanced for Grace FM, Lokoja.

According to a statement issued by the club said Wambebe was chosen from numerous qualified applicants after meeting every required conditions for the job.

Wambebe will be replacing the former Media Officer of the Confluence State club, Wale Mustapha who has moved on.

Team Manager of Kogi United, Ameh Henry described Wambebe’s appointment as best replacement to fill the space left by Mustapha who has served the club for seven years.While wishing Wale Mustapha the very best in his new challenge, Mr Henry charged Wambebe to double his efforts in making the club more popular and admired.

While accepting the appointment, Godwin Wambebe thanked and appreciated the management of the club especially the chairman Mallam Abdul Sule for finding him worthy to be appointed for such important position, promising to discharge his duties and responsibilities with utmost diligence and competence.

Wambebe is also a media consultant to Igala Nations League.
