Late Nura Suleiman: FRSC commends NANPF FCT, promises support

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has commended the FCT Chapter of the National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers, NANPF over their role in the wake of the death of Late Nura Suleiman.

Late Sura Suleiman, a player of the NNL side, FRSC FC died in his home town, Suleja, Niger State when he slumped during fitness training on the GSS football pitch on Tuesday 11th August 2020.

In a condolence visit to the office of the Director of Sport FRSC, Deputy Commander TY Etuku at the National Headquater Zone 3, Abuja, the Road Safety boss commended the effort and concern of the NANPF delegates “in this trying moment”

He also assured of his support “where necessary for the proposed friendly match between the FRSC FC team and friends of Late Nura Suleiman at the appropriate time”

Also present at the Director of Sports office, is the FRSC Team Manager, Route Commander AB Ahmed as he accepted the proposal by the FCT NANPF to organize a friendly game in honour of the late player.

In their response, Bar Lawal Audu who led the NANPF delegates expressed satisfaction with the welfare packages and general policies of FRSC with respect to their footballers.

He stressed that “the policy of drafting willing members of the football team to their organization with full benefit is something to be cherished.”

FCT NANPF has since paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Suleja, Niger State.
