Niger Tornadoes focused on NPFL return – Peter Momoh

Niger Tornadoes midfield maestro, Peter Momoh is confident his team will make a return to Nigeria elite football at the end of the current Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The Nigeria National League is set to resume hostiles on 10th of this month and the the Ikon Allah boys are in Group B 1.

Momoh has featured in all three games played so far this season with the last game as a second half substitute.

“Playing in the NNL is not easy.” You have to put in extra effort because everything wants to gain promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

“It a difficult terrain to play in but we remain resolute in our quest to return back to the NPFL. Every game is like a war and you have to be mentally and physically ready for it.

“We keep reminding ourselves every game we play is either to win or at most pick a draw most especially when we playing away from home because our target is to make a quick return to the NPFL,” said the former Kaduna United player to FreeKickNaija.com.ng.
