Oriental Derby: Abia Warriors in Enugu for maximum point

Abia Warriors goalkeeper trainer, Adams Jonkay has expressed confident his side will pick all points available when they trade tackle with eastern neighbours, Rangers Int’l.

Jonkay told FreekickNaija on Saturday morning moments before heading out to Enugu for the much awaited Nigeria Professional Football League match day 16 clash.

Abia Warriors are currently eight on the league standings with 21 points from fifteen games played while Rangers occupies the nineteenth spot with 12 points from eleven games played.

“Total football is all we are going out to play in Enugu. We can’t afford to loss at this point in time.

“We are aware it a local derby and we expect a very tough game. Derby games are explosive and nail biting but we no what to expect from Rangers not minding their recent form in the league.

“We are confident going into tomorrow’s game and we won’t leave Enugu without the necessary points.

“The lads are ready and the spirit in camp is high and we are ready to go,” said the FIFA licensed goalkeeper trainer.
