Osun United Proceed on Xmas and New Year Break

The management of Osun United has declared a two-week break to allow players and technical crew reunite with their families and friends to celebrate Christmas and New Year.

This is contained in a statement by the management of the club, communicated to the Media Officer, Tajudeen Amodu through the Team Manager, Kabiru Adekunle While wishing the club a happy celebration of yuletide, the management enjoined players and technical crew to be moderate in the celebration and obey government’s directive on the second wave of Covid-19 by avoiding crowded place, using facemask and washing the hand regularly.

The statement further hinted that the team would resume on Sunday, January 3, 2020 while training will commence on Monday, January 4, 2020 at the Osogbo Township Stadium in preparation for the Nigeria National League (NNL) that is billed to start January 16, 2021.

The management commended players and the technical crew for their courage and perseverance particularly on the issue of salary and promised that challenges militating against the team shall be a thing of the past in the coming year.

The statement also appreciated the State Government, Sports Ministry, fans and supporters for their full backing and urged everyone to be modest in the celebration of Yuletide with a prayer for the success of the team.Tajudeen AmoduMedia OfficerOsun United
