President Buhari’s State Team, Kasitna United Leads In The League Of Debtors In NPFL

One time darling team of Professional league players in Nigeria, Kastina United is now the sharp contrast of what it used to be. The state club will is in the home state of the president of Nigeria, his Excellency, Muhammed Buhari, is the leading team that is owning backlog of salaries of players.

Other teams that are owing their players salaries include Warri Wolves whom their player Abu Azeez took to the social media to fight for his wages, Sunshine Stars and privately owned FC Ifeanyi Ubah complete the list. The case of FC Ifeanyi Ubah is linked to the unproductive period of COVID-19 pandemic will has limited the source of income used in piloting the affairs of the privately owned team.
