Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadeija has congratulates the Nigerian under 17 team for defeating Ecuador at the ongoing FIFA U-17 world cup in Brazil.
The lawmaker who has been monitoring the national team since the kickoff of the tournament, said the Golden Eaglets have what it takes to left the trophy going by their performance so far.
“As a patriotic Nigerian, I need to support my country in all aspects when it comes to sports due to its unifying factor that doesn’t have limits all over the world and Nigeria was able to stamped itself right from the inception of this tournament in 1985 in far away China when it won the trophy.
I am very optimistic that they would still repeat the same feat going by their performances at the tournament”. he stated.
