Abia Warriors’ Chinedu Ozor has said his side will be aiming for the maximum point when they travel to Port Harcourt to face Rivers United in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day six fixture.

“We are not on a swimming jamboree in Port Harcourt but to swim away with three maximum point at stake.”

“We know what to expect from Rivers United and we are prepared and charged to go all out for victory.

“Our mind set is to go anywhere and pick points.” the defender stated.

Abia Warriors are placed sixth on the NPFL table with 8 points from a maximum of five games while Rivers United are ninth with 8 points from 5 games played.

Ozor told FreeKickNaija in a phone chat that the goal is to get a continental spot at the end of the current season.

“We are taking each game at a time because we are just five games gone in the league and thirty three left so we are taken them gradually and hopefully at the end, we secure a continental spot.

“Every team want to finish well at the end of the season and we have taken it upon ourselves to double our effort in every game we play not minding where we playing or the team,” Ozor concluded.
