Fast-rising football outfit in Anambra state Hopaland FC recorded its first victory against favorites Ozalla Football Academy in the Anambra Independent League which kick-off this weekend. Hopeland’s Toheed Makinde scored a brace while Abade Jerry made netted the third as Ozalla which is one of the best Football Academy in Anambra State fell 0 – 3 to HOPELAND FC.
The Anambra Independent League is in its sixth season and has proved to produce some of Nigeria’s emerging football talents.
It should be noted that Ozalla Football Academy, who were thrashed by Hopeland FC produced one of Super Eagles’ prospects Raphael Onyedika who currently plays in the Danish Top Flight with Midtjylland.
