The astute football administrator opined that it is not yet uhuru though a lot has been done and accomplished but there is still a long way to go.

“Our cadet teams must be fortified and have more engagements in 2022,” he said.

“We must, with the support of the Patron of our cadet teams, Hon. Akintunde Oyebode and our major sponsor of the U-15 football competition (Prof. Akintunde Oyebode dynasty), take this sport event to public and private secondary schools in Ekiti State, this is where the legacy could really be created.

“Our youth in sports especially football must have more engagements with longer duration in the year 2022 and the Bet9ja Ekiti Football League is the platform for this project, this starts on 14th February and will last for twenty weeks.”

Olanlege further stated the need to build capacity in the EkitiFootball Ecosystem.

“Workshop and seminars for referees, coaches and players will be conducted at the last week in January as planned.

“The month would also host the induction of the prospective RITs (Referees in Training) that is the scheme that would ensure that many of our youth are encouraged to prepare for a future in refereeing,” said Olanlege in his message.
