As the 2021-2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season commences this weekend, Technical Adviser of Katsina United, Coach Azeez Mohamed is ready for a decent outing for the club.
The former Wad Hashim Sinnar who took charge of the team midway into last season and helping them finish among the top 11 from the bottom of the table, is optimistic that their performance would be better this time around.
According to him, it is the desire of every coach to surpass his previous achievements and he believes his team would have a decent season.
“The Boys are ready for the new challenges that lies ahead.” coach Azeez said to Freekick Naija.
“We have been trying to put the players in the right frame of mind by engaging them with a couple of friendly games during the off season. We recently upgraded two or three young players from to the senior team and I believe that would create a healthy competition among the boys and make them to seat up” Coach Azeez stated.
Katsina United would be up against Rangers International for their first game on Sunday.
