Edo 2020: Governor Fayemi To Host Medal Winning Athletes’ Soon – Osetoba

Chairman Ekiti State Sports Council, Hon. Mrs Olusola Osetoba says the medal winning athletes to the National Sports Festival, Edo 2020 will soon be hosted by His Excellency, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.

Ekiti State contingent to Sports Festival raked in 2 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze medal to finish in the 23rd position out of the 36 States and the FCT on the medals table.

The Sports Council boss told medal winning athletes during the week when they paid her a visit in her office that in no distance time they will be recieved by the Governor.

“Plans are already in the offings for Mr Governor to host you because you have done the State proud.

“I challange you to be dedicated and steadfast in training for subsquent events so as to be the best in your field of endeavours whenever you are called upon to represent the State and Nation at large.” She maintained.

One of the athlete while speaking on behalf of is colleagues thanked the Chairman for welcoming them and pledged their support for the Sport Council under her auspices.
