Ekiti State Sports Commissioner, Hon. Awopetu To Grace Ologotun Football Championship Final – Ayo Orisameyiti

The Ogotun sports committee vice chairman, Comrade Ayo Orisameyiti says the Ekiti State Sports Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Michael Awopetu will be the special guest when the curtains fall at the Ologotun Football Championship on 1st of January 2022.

Comrade Orisameyiti who is also the special adviser to the Commissioner of sports said this on Thursday in his office in Ado-Ekiti.

“I can tell you with all honesty that the commissioner of sports (Hon. Awopetu) will be on ground for the grand finale come January 1st in Ogotun, said Orisameyiti.

“This is one of the competition that has endured and promote unity among the town, ensure talent discovery, engagement of youths to dissuade them from committing crimes and criminality, fostering oneness among the members of the town.

“We are happy to have the commissioner of sports identifying with us in this year’s tournament with the promise to dole out cash rewards to the top three teams at the end of the tournament.”

The final match will come up at the mainbowl of St. Bartholomew Primary School on January 1st 2022.
