“I’ve to give kudos to the organizers of this competition (RSDF),” the House Committee member on sport said.

“Without competition you can not get talents. Competition of this kind will help to fish out some talented players that can represent the nation, there is no way one or two players will not be scouted here to represent the nation (Super Falcons).

“It not just giving attention to players abroad. At times they can disappoint us, let us harness players at home with this kind of competition.”

In a related development, Hon. Ayeni charged Osun Babes to go for glory ahead of their semi-final clash against FC Robo Queens on Friday.

Hon. Ayeni said his presence will motivate the girls to perform better against FC Robo Queens on Friday.

“As a Federal lawmaker representing Osun and Osun Babes are here (in Abuja), there is no way for me not coming to show support to encourage and motivate my team.

“It important for me to be here and encourage them (Osun Babes) to do better. By the time they get to the final automatically those people over there will see reasons of getting something out of sports.”
