The Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Michael Awopetu has promised to support the Ologotun Football Championship with special cash reward.
Hon. Awopetu said this at the 2021 edition of the annual Ologotun Football Championship among youths in the community and its environs which kicked off at the weekend in Ogotun, Ekiti State.
“The top three teams at the end of the championship will be rewarded with cash prize,” said Awopetu.
Eleven teams are participating in this year’s edition haven’t been drawn into group A and B respectively.
The Ologotun Football Championship is one of the oldest competition in Ekiti State haven’t been held annually for the past 20 years.
