Hostilities Resume in NPFL for New Year

Hostilities resume on Sunday 5th January 2020 in the Nigeria Professional Football League 2019/2020 Season after yuletide holidays.

A total of 10 matches will be played across the designated venues as no club is committed for CAF continental engagement.

The first match of the weekend will see struggling Jigawa Golden Stars welcome Akwa Utd on Saturday at their adopted home ground in Kano.

Kano Pillars who have been enjoying a new veil of form since the return of their captain Rabiu Ali, entertain Warri Wolves.

League leaders, Plateau United will host Enyimba Int’l while Sunshine Stars will be on a long trip to Makurdi to face Lobi Stars
