How Super Eagles Might Lineup With Victor Moses And Odion Ighalo In The Attack At AFCON 2022

Speculations are rife that there is possibility that Victor Moses might return back to Super Eagles. According to the reports, the Nigeria Football Federation are having a discussion with the former Chelsea winger that could see him feature for Nigeria at the 2022 African Cup Of Nations tournament in Cameroon. 

If the negotiations materialized, Victor Moses will become the second retired Super Eagles player to be recalled back into the team after Odion Ighalo. 

It would be recalled that Odion Ighalo was invited for the last World Cup Qualifying campaign against Liberia and Cape Verde. 

Should Victor Moses return, we would be seeing a different attack set up of the Super Eagles considering the impending absence of Victor Osimhen from AFCON. 

In this article, we would be taking a look at how the Super Eagles Technical Adviser might deploy his attack with the inclusion of Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo. 

Victor Moses might be deployed to pair Simon Moses from the right wing since he can function effectively in both flanks. We would also be having Odion Ighalo operating as the main number nine in the absence of Victor Osimhen. 

Gernot Rohr may be reconsider switching to 4-3-3 formation in order to get the best out of the players.
