Obafemi Martins has ended speculation surrounding his future on the pitch after the former Super Eagles striker revealed in a television interview that he still has a lot to offer.
The 34-year-old who is returning from long-term injury lay-off revealed that he has received offers including from India but he is weighing the options.
“I am not quitting yet,” the former Inter Milan and Newcastle United star said
“I was injured last year, but I am fit again and have since been training, so looking to start playing again.”
I have received offers including one from India, but will wait on a good possibility because I want to be happy and have fun where I will play next”.
He also admitted it has been a bit disappointing he has only been “watching football on TV”.
“It’s sad some times because I don’t usually do so as I was busy playing myself,”
