The maiden edition of the MOB Ekiti Central Unity Cup second phase draw and unveiling to hold December 26, 2022 after the completion of the first phase on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti.
The Unity football tourney had both male and female categories.
The first phase which featured teams from the local government (Ekiti West, Efon Alaaye, Ijero, Ado and Irepodun/Ifelodun) of the Senatorial district where champions have emerged will participate in the second phase scheduled to begin in January 2023.
Alara FC of Ekiti West, Obalu Quarters of Efon Alaaye, ARE FC of Ijero, Triumph FC of Ado and Team MOB FC of Irepodun/Ifelodun will battle in the male category after emerging champions from their respective Local Government while in the female category, Alara Queens of Ijero, Efon Babes of Efon, Golden Queens FC of Ado and MOB FC, Irepodun/Ifelodun will do battle in the female category.
Winners from the first phase received a cash prize of 150,000 naira while second and third place team went home with 100,000 and 50,000 naira respectively.
