Musa missing as Rohr recalls Ramon Azeez, names 21 others for Brazil clash

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has been omitted from the 23 man provisional roster released by the Nigeria Football Federation on Thursday for the October 13th international friendly against the Selacao of Brazil at the Singapore National Stadium.

The Al Nassr winger is understood to be nursing an injury which automatically ruled him out of the encounter.

There is a first call-up for Slavia Prague striker Peter Olayinka while Granada’s Ramon Azeez is returning to the squad after more than five years in the international wilderness.

There is also the return of Kenneth Omeruo, Abdullahi Shehu and Chidozie Awaziem from injury, otherwise, the squad is largely unchanged from the side that was forced to a 2-2 draw by Ukraine in Dnipro on 10th September.
