Niger Tornadoes vs Katsina United: It’s A Different Atmosphere Now In Tornadoes – Sunday Akinmoladun

Niger Tornadoes captain, Sunday Akinmoladun says the “atmosphere is different” now in the team ahead of this evening Nigeria Professional Football League match day 11 game against Katsina United at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Sunday while speaking with FreekickNaija.com.ng in Abuja assuerd his side will pick the maximum points against Katsina United and will start chunking in results both home and away.

The Abubakar Bala tutored side are 18th in the league with 9 points from 10 games played so far.

“By God grace we are going to beat Katsina United today but it won’t be a roller coaster,” said the former Kwara United player with confident.

“It a different atmosphere and a different attitude now in the team after the draw against Lobi Stars in Makurdi. We understand were we are in the league and what we want to achieve at the end of 38 games.

“We had a good game against Lobi Stars in Makurdi but the draw is behind us now. “We will use that has a big turning point to get our season back on track by beating Katsina but it won’t be an easy ride because every team want to win games not minding playing at home or away.

“Nobody gave us the chance to pick a draw in Makurdi. It was a game we would have won convincely but we couldn’t make it count at the final third but we have corrected those mistakes going into today’s game.”

Akinmoladun further revealed he as being encouraging his teammates that results will begin to turn in for them with the way they have upped game.

“I keep encouraging my teammates to put in more work that results will start coming very soon in our favour and as you can see we are gradually getting it.

“The few set backs of draws and loss at home won’t deter us from achieving our aim this season but a motivation for us to keep working hard, Akinmoladun enthused.
