Niger Tornadoes team manager, Aliyu Muhammad has expressed confident that the team will get better after series of unfavourable results.

Aliyu said the recent results of the team in league will only spur them to work more and put the team were it belongs.

Niger Tornadoes will this weekend travel to Aba to keep a date with former league champions, Enyimba in match day 12 of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The Abubakar Bala tutored side are 16th in the league with 12 points from 11 games played so far.

“We had a shaky start to the league but gradually we will get better,” Muhammad to FreekickNaija.com.ng.

“We understand our position in the league because that is not were we want to be. If you look at the team, you will understand that 60percent are new players playing together for the first time.

“The team will gradually get better as the league progresses and I am confident we will finish the season in a good position,” He enthused.
