Nigeria’s Keleb Nwubani signs deal with SC Preuben Munster

Keleb Nwubani, a Nigerian budding central defender, has agreed to a three-year deal with German club SC Preuben Munster.

The 18-year-old Nigerian who has also played in England and German lower league side TUS Erndtebruck attracted several offers but decided to stick with SC Preuben Munster where he hopes to have enough playing time in order to develop and progress to top divisions.

The signing took place at the clubhouse of SC Preuben Munster in a brief event.

After signing the deal, Nwubani expressed his excitement at the club’s level of trust in him.

He added that his eyes are fixed on becoming a key player for the team and winning as many games as possible.

“I want to help the team as much as I can and also improve as it’s a high-level club with big expectations. I hope to also play a key role and help the club win many games. I hope at the end I will also be ready for top-flight football”, he said.

SC Preußen Münster is a German sports club based in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia which is mostly recognized for its football section.  This season, Nwubani will feature with the team in the Regionalliga West which is the fourth tier of German football.
