By Gbenga Adeleye

Ekiti United defensive midfielder Jonathan Emmanuel says his side are ‘much ready’ to down Nnewi United when both side clash in the Nigeria National League match day 4 on sunday evening.

Emmanuel told FreeKicknaija in a chat moments after Friday training session that Ekiti United are determined to send the Anambra based-club back home with a basket full of goals.

The Oluyemi Kayode Stadium outfit are eight on the league standing with 3 points and just a point above their visitors who occupies the ninth position with 2 points.

“It will be an interesting game looking at both teams position on the league standing,” said Emmanuel.

”Nnewi United will fall like a pack of card and we won’t let this game slip out of our hand.

“We want to try and climb as high as possible on the league table and we’re doing everything we’ve got from now until the end of the season,” said the 19-years-old to FreeKickNaija.

“No game is easy and (Nnewi United) are no push overs because they will also come out at us (Ekiti United) but am confident we will send them back empty handed.”
