By Gbenga Adeleye

Ekiti United captain, Ebuka Anthony says the JFK boys are in Enugu to compete for a place in Nigeria’s elite division.

Anthony in an exclusive interview told FreekickNaija.com.ng moments after Monday’s draw that they are in for business.

Ekiti United were earlier paired in group B along side Remo Stars, Bendel United Insurance and Shooting Stars for the four available tickets to the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.

“We came here with a lot of. “Our target is the NPFL and we are very ready,” said Anthony.

“We (Ekiti United) are seen as an outside to pick one of the tickets but football is dynamic and you never can predict how it will end.

“The business here is to keep our heads up and remain focused. Playing against Remo Stars, Shooting Stars and Bendel Insurance in the same group will not come easy but as a team, we are confident and motivated to get the job done,” Anthony enthused.

Ekiti United will take on Remo Stars in their first group game this evening by 7p.m.
