Remo Stars man of the match in the Nigeria Professional Football League week 19 encounter, Tolulope Ojo says he is fired up and in high spirit when the second stanza of the league kicks off.
The NPFL last weekend went on a two weeks recess and hostilities will resume on April 3.
The lanky forward strook in the 55th minute after benefiting from a defensive blunder from a Kwara United player and made an assist for the third goal to help Remo Stars to a 3-0 resounding victory at the Ikenne Stadium.
Tolulope in an exclusive interview told FreekickNaija.com.ng that he is well aware of the task ahead but assured he will double his efforts to help the sky blue replicate the form that saw them atop of the league standings for some weeks during the first stanza.
“I’m ready and fired up to help my team get back to the top of the league,” said Tolulope.
“As a player you always want to be at the top of your game and keep improving to help get the best for your team week-in-week out. We had some good moments at the start of the league which I no we will replicate back when the second half of the league commences.
“My target is to get more goals for my team and God willing I will achieve it. “I have not set a goal target for myself but I do believe I can get to double digit,” said the former Insurance of Benin forward.
Tolulope has contributed four goals (two goals and two assist) for the sky blue.
Remo Stars are fourth in the league with 32 points from 19 games and 10 points adrift of table toppers Rivers United.
