Osetoba: Keep Fit Program ‘Work and Live’ Aimed At Healthy Living

Chairman, Ekiti State Sports Council Hon. Mrs Olusola Osetoba has said the keep fit ‘Work and Live’ program is aimed at allowing the body system to work together efficiently for healthy and perform activities of daily living.

The inaugural edition of the keep fit ‘Work and Live’ program championed by Hon. Olusola Osetoba and sponsored by Leebaf Foundation from the United Kingdom will commence on Saturday 17th, July 2021 at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium Ado-Ekiti by 7a.m.

The keep fit ‘Work and Live’ program will be held every third Saturday of every month at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti.

The council chairman emphasized the need to engage in exercise and the the keep fit ‘Work and Live’ program provides the opportunity to leave a healthy life style.

“Exercise is not limited to sportsmen alone and that was why we came up with this program to benefit the people in the State and beyond.

“To enjoy the glow of good health, you must exercise. “To take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live.

“Exercise is the king, nutrition is queen. When you put them together, you’ve got a Kingdom,” said the Emure born astute sports administrator.

Osetoba added: keeping fit promotes strong muscles and bones. It improves respiratory, cardiovascular health, and overall health. Staying active can also help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and reduce your risk for some cancers.”

She enjoined Ministries, Departments, and agencies of government and sons and daughters of the State to key into this program for a healthy living.
