Osetoba Receives World U-20 Athletic Championship 4×400m Relay Mixed Gold Winning Medalist Bamidele Ajayi

Ekiti State Sports Council received Bamidele Ajayi after his heroics performance at just concluded U-20 World Athletics Championship in Kenya at her office on Monday afternoon at Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti
The elated council boss in company of her board members praised Ajayi for his world class performance in Kenya, Nairobi.
“I’m am proud of you. “You (Ajayi) is my world champion,” said Osetoba.
“Thank you for doing our State (Ekiti) proud and the country as a whole. You have to keep the flag flying. We will continue to support you in whatever way to get you to the top.
“Let me say this, your achievement will not go unrewarded. We will celebrate you and I urge you not to relent in your training because this is just the beginning of your rise and success,” Osetoba maintained.
Team Nigeria’s quartet of Bamidele Ajayi, Chidera Johnson Nnamani, Imaobong Nse Uko and Deborah Oke won the country’s first good medal at the World U-20 Athletics Championship in Kenya, Nairobi.
The quartet set a Championship Record of 3:19.70 to win the Gold in the mixed 4×400 relay.
