Our ‘Greatest Motivation’ Will Be To See Governor Kayode Fayemi Watch Us Play, says Ekiti United Players

Ekiti United players have come out to say having Governor Kayode Fayemi in the stadium watching them play in one of their Nigeria National League, NNL games will be their “greatest motivation”.

The Oluyemi Kayode Stadium based club are placed sixth in the table with fourteen points from eleven games played.

FreekickNaija gathered from Ekiti United FC (EUfc) media that players of the club are eager to see the number one financier and supporter of the club, Governor Fayemi in one of their League games this season.

“We are eagerly looking forward to a day when the State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi will come and watch us (Ekiti United) play live at the stadium,” the players said.

“It will be the greatest motivation for us, as no Governor in the State had come to watch our league games in the past.”

The players jointly promised to keep giving their best at ensuring that the team finishes among the top eight in the NNL at the end of the season.
