‘Perform Your Duties Without Fear or Favour’ – Hon. Awopetu Charges Ekiti United Coaches
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Ekiti State, Hon. Micheal Awopetu has charged coaches of Ekiti United to perform their duties without “fear or favor” ahead of preparation for the new season.
According to a statement monitored by FreekickNaija.com.ng on Ekiti United FC media on Sunday morning.
Ekiti United will tomorrow commence open screening to recruit new players for the 2021-22 Nigeria National League season.
Hon. Awopetu noted that expectations on the team were high, hence the need for the coaches to strive towards surpassing last season’s record and achievement .
He expressed optimism that with more support from the State government, friends of government, philanthropists and supporters, Ekiti United football club would break the jinx and gain promotion to the much desired Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL next season.
