Ukraine based Nigerian forward Paago Tedum Henry has revealed that he is ready to embrace greater challenges which he believes will help him elevate his football career going forward as he targets Liga 2 promotion with his team.
The FC Trostyanets player is also seeking for fresh opportunities after going through the ranks of Ukrainian football and helping FC Trostyanets finish second on the log in the third tier championship.
“I want to help the club to gain promotion to Liga 2,” said Henry to FreekickNaija.
“I’ve given the club everything and I hope we can achieve greater things together as a club. I will give my best and above 100% to keep my legacy in the club so that they can talk about me when I am gone to face another challenge in my career with another club.”
The Rivers state born central forward who also fits well in the left and right wing had his football formative years with Mobility Star FC before leaving the shores of the country to sign his first professional contract with FC Elektron of Ukraine for the 2019/2020 football season.
He had a stellar performance in his first season scoring 15 goals in 16 appearances before securing a transfer to FC Sumy. Henry recorded eight goals in 13 appearances in the colours of FC Sumy and helped the club to finish second in the 3rd division.
After 15 appearances for FC Trostyanets in the current season, he has scored seven times and made five assist while clinching three Man of The Match awards.
The forward who see JJ Okocha and Cristiano Ronaldo as his role models stressed that he is on the look for stiffer challenges in football.
“ I looking forward to take another challenge, by joining new club and I am confident that I will get to my desired destination by working on and off the pitch”.
