The Nigerian Playmaker That Might Step Up To Solve Eagles Creativity Problem At AFCON 2021
For a long while now, Super Eagles have not been unable to find a creative midfielder in the team.
Absence of creativity in the Super Eagles team is fast becoming a major challenge that needs to be resolved before the commencement of the forthcoming African Cup Of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
The absence of creative midfielder in the middle of the park would also make it hard for the forwards to penetrate the opponent’s defense as we have noticed during the world Cup qualifiers.
Coach Eguavoen and his coaching staff should consider drafting Akinkunmi Amoo who plies his trade with Hammarby to come and fill the void that is affecting the team.
Amoo is a versatile midfielder that can function both as a left winger as well as well as attacking midfielder.
He was able to scored 9 goals and assisted five in his 29 league appearances in the 2021 season.
The versatile youngster often starts on the right wing for Milos Milojevic’s side.
Aside from that, he has also been deployed centrally in midfield, as a Number ten and even up front as well.
He would look to bring his form into use if invited by the Super Eagles manager at AFCON tournament in Cameroon.
