Throwback Picture On How Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa Professional Football Career Started

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has shared a picture of how his professional football career all started.

The 29-year-old begun his footballing career with JUTH Fc of Jos in the Nigeria Professinal League in 2008-2009 season were he made 18 appearances and scored 4 goals before joining Kano Pillars on loan in 2009-2010 season and made a switch to VV-Venlo on 1 October, 2010 where he shun like a million stars for the Eredevise side.

In 2012, Musa switched to CSKA Moscow in a deal worth €5million but the big move came for the Jos-born winger when he sealed a €19.50million transfer to Leicester City on 8 July, 2016.

After a loan spell back to CSKA Moscow and Leicester City, in 2018 he signed for Al-Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia were he won the Saudi Premier League and Saudi Super Cup, both in 2019.

He made a short return to boyhood club, Kano Pillars in April, 2021 before securing a two year deal with Turkish Süper Lig club Fatih Karagümrük in July 22, 2021.

The Former Leicester City player made his debut for the National team, the Super Eagles on 10 September, 2010 and has raked in 107 appearances with 16 goals to his name.

Musa became the first Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match, after scoring twice against Argentina in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and also the first Nigerian to score in two FIFA World Cup competitions, after scoring twice against Iceland in the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
