We Lost Due To Fatigue – Gombe United Gaffer, Aliyu Zubairu

Technical Adviser of Gombe United, Aliyu Zubairu has attributed his side 2-0 defeat to Sunshine Stars on match day 7 of the Nigeria Professinal Football League to fatigue on the side of his boys.

Zubairu while addressing newsmen moments after the final whistle stressed that to some extent fatigue had affeted the performance of his boys and commended them for their efforts.

The Savannah scorpions went down to Orji Promise and Bello Babatunde strikes in either half at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode.

“We arrived Ijebe Ode lately after two days on the road,” Zubairu said.

“We did everything humanly possible to manage the fatigue but all the same we thank God for everything.

“We’re going back to prepare well for our home game with the right attitude as winning the match is very important. It’s going to be a massive game,”He concluded.
