Our Strategy Worked Against Sunshine Stars – Ag. Niger Tornadoes Gaffer Majin

Niger Tornadoes acting Technical Adviser, Majin Mohammed says his strategy worked against Sunshine Stars on matchday 18 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Tornadoes held the Owena Whales to a goalless draw at the Akure Sports Complex on Saturday evening.

Majin in a post match mortem commended his boys and said the team came to Akure with a game plan which earned the Ikon Allah boys a valuable point.

“We give glory to God and kudos to the players for a job well done,” said Majin.

“Our game plan worked for us. It’s a strategy and whatever strategy you deploy, it either you win or loss and sometimes even loss the match.

“Today (yesterday) it favour us, to God be the glory we were able to pick a point which is plus for us.”

With this result, Niger Tornadoes have climbed to 13 in the log and will next host Katsina at their adopted home ground in Kaduna.
