The Organising Committee of the 2021 Irepodun/Ifelodun Unity Cup says it will begin the sales of registration forms November 13th, 2021 to teams who wish to participate in the grassroots football competition.
This was made known after the committee meeting at the Ekiti Baptist High School, Igede on Thursday afternoon.
The Organising Committee, led by the chairman, Popoola Adefemi resolved that ten thousand naira (#10,000) has be pegged as the registration fee for team participation and registration forms will be available from 13-20th November, 2021.
Among other issues resolved at the meeting were;
The three venues picked for the Unity Cup are, Iyin, EKSU (Iworoko), and Igede which will host the third place and final game.
Each Local Football Councils representative were told to show high level of discipline before, during and after the Unity Cup.
Sponsors of the Unity Cup will be made available to the Local Football Councils representative at the end of registration of their teams.
The kick-off date and price money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position will be announced at the completion of registration of each participating teams.
The committee also stated that 18 players and 2 officials will be registered from each participating teams.
The committee members present at the meeting were, Arise Steve. O – Igede, Anjorin Kehinde – Igbemo, Ayorinde Seun – Awo, Famuagun Adeolu – Igede, Olagunju Timileyin S – Iyin, Omoyemi Adekunle – Igede and Ogunlana Olubukola – Iyin.
