Niger Tornadoes Majin Charges Players’ To Focus On Beating Doma United

Niger Tornadoes Acting Technical Adviser Majin Mohammed has called on his players to banish the memories of the midweek NPFL defeat in Uyo against Akwa United and focus on the next game.

He stated this while addressing the players when the team resumed preparation at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna upon their return from Uyo ahead of this weekend’s schedule against the Savannah Tigers as Doma United are nicknamed.

“We didn’t play to our full strength in Uyo and that contributed majorly to the outcome of the result.”

“We were all disappointed with the midweek result, because we have let down the expectations people have on us, but that is football; sometimes, things like this happens, the good thing however is, the next game presents an opportunity for us to make amends and right the wrongs.”

“I want us to forget about what had happened and focus on the next game against Doma United which is a must win for us.”

The fact that we are in a healthy position now, does not mean that we are entirely safe from the drop zone; our position only puts us at advantage to other teams, but the reality is, we seriously have a lot to do and it’s starts from this weekend.”

Niger Tornadoes shall welcome Abubakar Bala’s Doma United who had a contrasting fortune of results having won 1 drew 1 and lost 1 in their last 3 NPFL matches.
