The Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, Gen Chikelue Iloenyosi, earlier today at the palace of the traditional ruler of Umunya,in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State, His Royal Highness, Igwe Kris Chinedu Onyekwuluje received royal blessings from the traditional Rulers of Umunya, Omasi, Umumbo, Ayamelum and Umuoba Anam in Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra state . Iloenyosi received the Monarchs’ blessings when he called on the traditional ruler of Umunya alongside his entourage.
Leading the prayer, the traditional ruler of Omasi asked God to imbued the FA Chairman with wisdom and understanding that would enable him to pilot the affairs of football in Anambra State without skimirshes and hinderances, praying that with God on his side he would do exploits.
Igwe Omasi while blessing Iloenyosi prayed God to continue to guide and protect him against every obstacle as well as anyone who planned evil against him, even as enjoined all and sundry to rally round him in his onerous task of repositioning soccer in the state.
Receiving the Gen Iloenyosi in his Palace at Umunya, the traditional ruler of Umunya, Igwe Kris Onyekwuluje, expressed delight over the coming of the FA Boss to his abode, saying that he was impressed with what the Chairman had been able to do so far within few months in office as the Anambra State Football helmsman, adding that his efforts and programmes towards the development and upliftment of grassroots football cannot be overemphasized.
Igwe Onyekwuluje said that he was more than happy seeing him emerged as the chairman of Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA. ‘I was really delighted immediately the news of his emergence as the FA Chairman filtered in.’
