Beat Gombe United To Consolidate Victory Over 3SC, Says Niger Tornadoes T.M, Aliyu Muhammad

Niger Tornadoes Team Manager, Aliyu Muhammad has charged the Ikon Allah boys to beat Gombe United on match day 8 of the Nigeria Professinal Football League at the Pantami Stadium on Monday.

Muhammad in a telephone chat with FreekickNaija.com.ng from is base in Minna on Friday evening stated that the victory over Shooting Stars has restored confident and believe back in the team.

“We want to consolidate Wednesday’s victory against Shooting Stars in Abuja by beating Gombe United on Monday in Gombe,” said Muhammad.

“I’ve told the boys we cannot afford to slip in our next game and must consolidate our victory over Shooting Stars by beating Gombe United. “We know it not going to be an easy one, the boys are turbo charged for victory on Monday.”

Muhammad said Niger Tornadoes need a different attitude after recent struggles in the league.

“After the victory over Shooting Stars, I told the lads the need to have the right attitude and mentality of winning.

“If you look at our previous results before Wednesday’s game, you will see we’ve not had it good but I believed we can go a bit further.”

The Abubakar Bala tutored side are placed 13th in the log with 8 points from 7 games played so far.
