CHAN 2020 Qualifiers: Amapakabo leads 20 Home based Super Eagles to Lome

Home based Super Eagles led by coach Imama Amapakabo have departed Abuja on Friday morning ahead of the 2020 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifying fixture against Togo.

The Chan Eagles will face the Sparrow Hawks  on Sunday 22nd September 2019 for the first leg of the encounter at the Stade de Kegue in the country’s capital city.

The 20-man list of players that will prosecute the  qualifying game is dominated by  players that secured Nigeria’s ticket to the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

16 out of the players ply their trade in the Nigeria Professional Football League while the remaining 4 are from the Nigeria National League.

Nigeria lost to Morocco in the final of the competition in the last edition.
