Omoyele Targets Ligue 1 Title
Nigeria international Omoyele says his focus is to win the 2023-24 Ligue Professionnelle 1 with his USM Khenchela.
Omoyele in an exclusive interview with FreekickNaija.com.ng via telephone chat revealed that he wants to finish the current season with Ligue Professionnelle 1 title.
The former Plateau United, Enyimba and Katsina United forward said he wants to go one better from last season.
“It is a marathon league but I wish we can do better than last season and clinch the title,” said Omoyele.
Omoyele registered his first goal of the season in Khenchela’s 2-3 win away to reigning champions CR Belouizdad.
“I was very excited to score my first goal of the season.
“The focus is to end the season as a champion. I hope the chances keep coming for me to score more goals that will help my team secure the league title.”
USM Khenchela are placed second in the Ligue Professionnelle 1 table with 9 points from 4 games.
