Niger Tornadoes Gaffer Majin Mohammed Eyes Clean Sheet Against Doma United

Niger Tornadoes Acting Head Coach Majin Mohammed said consolidating on the recent good run of results on home turf is important, especially in this business end of the season.

The NPFL Matchday 31 tie will take place at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Sunday.

The Ikon Allah Boys suffered a slim 1-0 defeat in the reverse fixture at the Pantami stadium and Majin believed his time for them to take their pound of flesh.

“Every point gained is valuable and important at this point, because it is just few games until the end of the season and every team has their priority,” said Majin.

“Ours is to stabilise in the NPFL, that is why the remaining matches are significant, especially home games, because teams will be trying by any means possible to guide their home.

“They (Doma) won at their home because it was important to them, now is the time for us to also win our home because it’s equally important to us,” Majin maintained.

This is the fourth time the two teams would be meeting since Doma United gained promotion to NPFL.

Niger Tornadoes have scored eight goals and conceded just one in their last 3 home matches (Sporting Lagos, Shooting Stars, Gombe United).
