Dominic Aliyu, a former winger for the Nigerian Under 17 team, has signed a short term deal with Lobi Stars Football club of Makurdi.
The striker, who hails from Kaduna state, has had stints in various African clubs in Togo, Niger, and Ivory coast.
Aliyu recently had a stint with Clube Ferroviaro De Biera in Mozambique where he contributed nine goals and helped them in winning the league before returning back to Nigeria to sign for Lobi Stars.
He told Freekicknaija that he aims to contribute to his new club’s success in the Nigeria Premier Football League and also prepare himself for future opportunities.
“My goal is to assist the club in advancing in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League and also to maintain a positive mindset for future challenges.” he said.
