Andrew Ikefe To Miss Kwara United Clash

Tenth place Plateau United will miss the services of defence strong man, Andrew Ikefe when the Peace boys take a trip to Ilorin to face Kwara United in the Nigeria Professional Football League games on Sunday evening.

Ikefe who has been a main stay in the heart of Plateau United defence will play no part in match day 21 clash due to yellow card accumulation.

According to a letter sent to the club by the League Management Company and made available to FreekickNaija read, “Notification Of Suspension, Andrew Ikefe with jersey No. 20 has accumulation of yellow cards in match day’s 4, 6, 14, 16 and 20 and suspended for the next match.

“Consequently, the above named player is supended for the next match (Kwara United FC vs Plateau United FC) in the 2020/2021 NPFL season.”

The Abdu Maikaba boys have racked in 28 points from 20 games played so far.

The reverse fixture at the New Jos Stadium, ended 2-0 in favour of Kwara United.
