BREAKING! Oyetola Asks Management, Coaches Of Osun United To Step Aside

Due to poor performance of Osun United Football Club, the management and coaching crew of the team have been asked to step aside until the end of the season.

In the coaching crew,
Coach Waheed Olapade and Moruf were left behind and they will be joined by Tunji Baruwa while Mr. Ololade Gbenga will act as Sole Administrator for the remaining six matches.

Speaking briefly to journalists immediately after the meeting, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Sport Development, Mr Vincent Akinbami said that the decisions were taken by top echelon of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the state but released through his office.

Speaking further, he said the sole administrator, Mr Gbenga Ololade was the founder of Prime Football Club, Osogbo and took them as far as Nigeria Premier League and the semi-finals of the Nigeria FA Cup during his time as general manager of the team.

Mr Vincent Akinbami added that he believes these changes will bring better fortunes to the club.

Osun United is presently placed eight on the table of the Nigeria National League Group B1 after a home draw with Dynamo FC of Edo over the weekend.
