Egyptian club side, Misr El-Makasa has appointed Former Flying Eagles coach Emmanuel Amuneke as their head coach.

Brila fm reported that the former Super Eagles striker replaced Ahmed Hossam Mido who was sacked by the management over poor run of form in their previous games.

Mido was sacked on Wednesday after losing 3-1 to Pyramids FC on Tuesday in the Egypt Premier League.

Amuneke’s last job before his latest appointment was with the Taifa Stars of Tanzania. He led the team to the 2019 African Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt, but was sacked afterwards after the team failed to go past the group stage.
